GRAVURE
The high tech gravure division division at Malvern, Johannesburg epitomises high-precision print technology. The division uses state of the art equipment, an automated, all in one printing system.
Bulk rolls of paper or board are fed through multi-colour printing and drying processes at high speed before the printed material is embossed, creased, die-cut or guillotined in-line for final distribution.
This core technology was enhanced during the year with the commissioning of an automated, high speed Blumer cutting, punching and banding machine.
The division's bulk production is concentrated in two precision packaging areas: beverage bottle labels and cigarette packs.
